In April 2007 we sold The Three Horseshoes at Madingley to Richard
Stokes (Chef Patron there for the last 14 years). The Pheasant at Keyston
is also being bought by Jay and Taffeta Scrimshaw who have run it so well
for 18 months. I am very proud to help these 2 teams set up in business - I
know they will be even more successful as genuine owner-operators.
We also sold The Falcon at Fotheringhay to a local family, Harry and Sally Facer.
As a result I can put all our time and resources into The Old Bridge. Following our re-development of the Business Centre and Riverside patio, we will start on a new courtyard garden at the main entrance to the hotel. Then, at last, it will be a wine shop!
I hope you continue to enjoy your visits to The Old Bridge, whilst also continuing to support our friends in the pub-restaurants.
