Richard Kelley MW, aka ‘The Liberator’
Richard was with us in 2017, 2020 and again in 2022, telling us about his ‘Liberator’ project – in which he visits top South African wineries and liberates various vinous orphans for his UK wine importing business, selling them as a series of never-to-be-repeated ‘Episodes’. They are a very diverse selection but share a strong sense of individuality and authenticity.
On those occasions we tasted from Episodes 1-36, and now we have the chance to sample the 12 or so wines released since then.
We will all learn a lot about the quirky reality of making and buying wine.
